Income Tax Department

As of February 2024, the Income Tax Department has changed software, thus changing the eFile system. During the implementation of the new eFile site, a few taxpayers have received an error: " Account is not available to be viewed on the web. Please contact the Tax Office." Unfortunately, the software programmers have not determined why this is happening and are still working on it. To help those who cannot make an in-person appointment, taxpayers can make a video or phone call appointment after hours starting next week. I apologize for any inconvenience and hope the issue will be resolved soon.

Thank you for your understanding.

Did you know?

If you received a refund for municipality income tax withheld from another city, you may not use municipal tax withheld as a credit for Canal Fulton tax return.  If you had already filed using a credit, even if it is for previous years, please contact our office immediately to correct your return.

Final Returns and first quarter payments are due  April 15,2024.

If you need to stop in and file a return for 2022 or prior years, please set up an appointment to the right.
